The Moss Agency is a brand commerce and product development firm that partners with companies to design products, build retail programs, and scale growth across ecommerce and licensing channels.

We work at the intersection of strategy, product, and commerce — helping brands turn ideas into real products, retail experiences, and scalable revenue streams. From concept to execution, our focus is on building programs that are commercially viable and designed for long-term growth.

Our Founder

The Moss Agency is led by Matt Moss, a brand, product, and commerce leader with over 20 years of experience across retail, ecommerce, and global brand marketing.


Prior to founding The Moss Agency, Matt held leadership roles at Oakley, where he led retail marketing initiatives supporting a multi-hundred-million-dollar global direct-to-consumer business, overseeing brand campaigns, retail environments, and customer experience programs.


Throughout his career, Matt has worked at the intersection of brand, product, and commerce, leading initiatives across global brands and licensing programs, including work connected to Major League Baseball, Guitar Hero, and Xbox — developing consumer products, retail programs, and brand experiences at scale.


Since launching The Moss Agency in 2019, he has developed and managed licensed merchandise programs, retail initiatives, and ecommerce platforms for brands including Mitsubishi Motors North America, supporting both established and emerging brands with product development, merchandising, and commerce growth strategies. 


Matt brings a hands-on operator’s perspective — combining strategy, product development, and commerce execution — helping brands move from idea to scalable growth.
